What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is like having a smart digital assistant that can actually take actions for you, not just answer questions. While regular AI models can only chat and provide information, AI agents can connect to your apps and services to perform tasks like creating documents, sending emails, scheduling meetings, or managing your calendar. Think of it as the difference between asking someone for directions versus having them actually drive you there. With app integrations, Chocolatey AI can act as your AI agent, working directly with your tools to get things done.

What is a context window?

A context window is like the AI's "memory span" for a single conversation. It determines how much of your chat history the AI can remember and reference at once. A larger context window means the AI can remember more of your conversation, understand longer documents you share, and maintain better context over extended discussions. Different AI models have different context window sizes - some can remember the last few messages, while others can remember entire books worth of text.

What are reasoning or "thinking" models?

Reasoning or "thinking" models are advanced AI models that take extra time to carefully work through problems step-by-step before responding.
